He is in practice with Baptist Metro General Surgery in Memphis, Tennessee.  His hospital affiliations include Baptist Memorial Hospital-Collierville, Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis, Baptist Memorial Restorative Care Hospital, Baptist Memorial Hospital-Tipton, and Baptist Memorial Hospital for Women. Graduating with his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in 1988, Dr. Lane went on to perform his surgical residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C. He followed up with a fellowship in advanced laparoscopy and bariatric surgery at Cleveland Clinic Foundation Medical Center in Ohio.
